Meleisa Lane is licensed to practice law in the General Court of Justice of the State of North Carolina; the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, and the Fourth Circuit United States Court of Appeals. Attorney Lane is an alumnus of Wake Forest University and North Carolina Central University School of Law. She has practiced law in small, medium and large law firms and has had the professional honor of serving as a research assistant (law clerk) for the North Carolina Supreme Court.

Certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission as a Superior Court Mediator, Attorney Lane received mediation training at the Duke University Private Adjudication Center. Attorney Lane is an Arbitrator for Cumberland County District Court and has received Post-Conviction Capital Case training offered by the National Institute of Trial Attorneys at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
