Our services, and therefore, our fees are customized to your needs. We have unbundled legal services to permit you to avoid paying attorneys for services you are fully capable of handling. The Virtual Law Firm reserves the right to decline limited scope legal representation if: (i) it is determined that the matter should be handled by a lawyer under full service legal representation; (ii) you decline to use a lawyer to handle matters we believe to be too complex for you to handle; or (iii) for any other reason it appears you will not benefit from limited scope legal services. The Virtual Law Firm employs the following billing methods: Flat Fee Most items will be billed on a flat fee basis. You will be advised in advance as to the fee, and you will pay the fee in advance of performance by The Virtual Law Firm. All flat fees are NONREFUNDABLE. Hourly Fees Some items, such as preparing or responding to discovery request or participation in negotiations, may be billed at an affordable hourly rate. Prior to commencement of work, you will be given the hourly rate and the estimated time required to complete the work. Per Page Fees Some items, such as reviewing trial transcripts for appeals, may be based upon a per page fee. A per page fee may also be charged for reviewing contracts and other legal documents. The per-page fee will depend upon the number of lines per page and the font size of the document. Contingent Fees The Virtual Law Firm does not handle cases on a contingent fee basis. However, we do offer affordable rates to individuals who are representing themselves in matters customarily billed lawyers on a contingent fee basis. Administrative Fees In addition to the attorney fees, you will be charged certain administrative fees. Administrative fees include an initial file set up fee and file maintenance fees. Costs You will be required to pay in advance all costs incurred
by The Virtual Law Firm, including postage, courier fees,
